DAILYJILI Responsible Gaming: 21+, Limits and Help
DAILYJILI responsible gaming starts with one rule: this site and the lobby it links to are for people aged 21 and over. Gambling is not a source of income, it can become addictive, and you can lose the money you stake. The steps below take a few minutes and are worth doing before your first deposit.
Who may play
Only adults aged 21 and over. PAGCOR’s responsible gaming page also lists persons included in the National Database of Restricted Persons and government officials and employees among those prohibited from gambling. If you are under 21, close the page and do not register.
Four habits from PAGCOR’s reminders
PAGCOR prints these reminders on its responsible gaming page, and they work as a checklist:
- Gambling is not a source of income.
- Set time limits for each gambling session.
- Never borrow money or use all of your resources for gambling.
- Do not chase your losses.
Decide your budget and your stopping time before you open a game, write them down, and treat the budget as money already spent on entertainment.
Excluding yourself or a family member
PAGCOR runs two programmes, described on its exclusion page.
| Programme | For whom | Periods you can ask for |
|---|---|---|
| Self exclusion | You, if gambling is becoming a problem | 6 months, 1 year or 5 years |
| Family exclusion | A spouse, child or parent | 6 months, 1 year or 3 years |
The first six months of a self exclusion are irrevocable, and after the period ends the order lifts automatically. You apply with the form, a government ID and photos listed on that page, by the e-mail address printed there or at the drop box at MET Live Building, Central Business Park 1-A, Macapagal Boulevard corner EDSA Extension, Pasay City. Read the current form and requirements on pagcor.ph under Responsible Gaming before you apply.

What to do next
The gambling help pages for Filipino players cover the signs of a problem and the next step in plain words. Questions about this site go through the contact page for DAILYJILI readers, and about the team behind this site says who writes it.
