DAILYJILI Maya QR Code: The Kinds You Scan and Where They Fit

A Maya QR code is not one thing. At a shop it is a square you scan with the Maya app, at a Maya Terminal it is a code on the cashier’s device, and on a bus it is a ticket you hold up. This page sorts the kinds by who shows the code and what scanning does, using Maya’s own pages. Maya was called PayMaya earlier, and the wallet’s cashier role is laid out in the PayMaya casino hub.

Maya QR: scanning a merchant’s static code

Maya’s steps for a static display are these:

  1. Tap Pay with QR at the bottom of the home screen of the Maya app.
  2. Scan the merchant’s QR code.
  3. Check the merchant name on your screen and enter the amount.
  4. Press Send Payment or Pay.
  5. Wait for the confirmation message in the app and by SMS.
  6. Present that confirmation message to the merchant.

Keep that message, because it is your proof of payment; the places it lives are covered in the Maya receipt locations page.

Paying at a Maya Terminal

At a Terminal the amount arrives with the code. Maya’s page lists the steps as: tap Pay with QR, scan the code shown on the Terminal device, see the merchant name and total amount on your screen, press Send Payment or Pay, and present the confirmation message. Maya’s older Help Center article, last updated 28 April 2022, adds that the cashier enters your amount in the Terminal first. That article also calls the button Scan to Pay, so treat the wording as dated and follow the label you see.

QR Ph codes: scanning with Maya at other merchants

QR Ph is a shared code that banks and e-wallet apps read. Maya’s page gives five steps:

  1. Visit a merchant that accepts QR Ph.
  2. At checkout open your Maya app and select Scan to Pay.
  3. Scan the merchant’s QR Ph code.
  4. Input the correct amount for your purchase.
  5. Confirm the amount and complete the payment.

Maya says you and the merchant receive an SMS when the transaction completes, and notes that the experience may vary for other banks and e-wallets. Maya’s limits page also lists QR Ph among the ways an account can receive money, alongside InstaPay, and puts InstaPay receiving at PHP 50,000 per transaction at every level. The full set of limits sits in the Maya transfer limit table.

Your own Maya QR: where to look

Maya’s help pages do not print where a personal code sits in the app or the steps for receiving by QR, so this page gives neither. Open the Help Center icon at the upper right of the Maya app and search for it there; the chat can connect you to a live representative. Maya’s Help Center also has a separate article for generating a QR code to receive crypto, which is a different feature.

When a Maya QR payment goes wrong

Problem

A QR payment failed, was paid twice or charged the wrong amount

Fix

Maya says to contact the merchant and confirm your payment. The merchant has 15 days to settle the transaction with Maya; if it is not settled, the amount is credited back to your Maya account. Past 15 days without it, you can request a reversal, and the merchant can also ask for a refund for you.

Maya QR and the DAILYJILI cashier

The DAILYJILI lobby’s banner named PayMaya as a deposit method when read on 27 September 2026. Whether the cashier shows a code, a number or a form is read on its Deposit and Withdrawal screens once you sign in. The Maya casino payments overview keeps the wallet-side facts in one place.

FAQ

Is the button called Pay with QR or Scan to Pay?

Both names appear in Maya's own pages. maya.ph says Pay with QR for static displays and terminals, while its QR Ph steps and an older Help Center article from 2022 say Scan to Pay. Read the label on your own home screen.

What do I get after scanning a Maya QR code?

Maya says you receive a confirmation message in the app and by SMS, and that you present the confirmation message to the merchant.

Where is my own Maya QR code for receiving money?

Open the Help Center icon in the Maya app and search for it there, because Maya's help pages do not give its location or the steps; Maya's limits page lists QR Ph among the ways to receive money on some account levels.
